Last week, Bridgette Janeway, a Varsity Facility Services Cleaning Specialist in Panama City, Florida went above and beyond the call of duty, by thinking on her feet, and helping the customer avert a crisis. Not only is Bridgette doing a great job with her daily responsibilities, but during the course of her regular janitorial shift at a leading medical facility, she noticed water coming from beneath the door to the Bio-Med room. Going up the correct chain of command, Bridgette made contact with the customer and with a clear head gave details of what was going on. After being given the door code to the Bio-Med room she was able to give full details of what was happening, and with instructions over the phone Bridgette was able to interrupt the process and stop the water flow until help arrived. This is a new customer in the Panama City area, and Bridgette’s quick thinking saved the customer a lot of time and costly cleanup. Way to go, Bridgette!
